What UPA should really do is restrict the Commodity futures to Farmers, Warehouses . Bank`s Treasury team should stay away from commodity exchanges. Physical settlement should be implemented & settlement .
OTC counters should be banned in all forms..
This will soften commodity prices and speculation will be curtailed.
Today commodity markets are jacked up by politicans, FII`s & middlemen.
When RICE price increase by 10% 1 million asian poor die out of hunger.
So don`t carry this SIN on your head when u die.. Let good karma prevail in you. Money earned by illlicit means will ruin your family if not today someday for sure.
Indian Govt should curb NRI`s buying more than 2 residental houses under ones name.
For 3rd & 4th house purchased by NRI`s Banks should ask for higher down payments like 40%.
Banned GPA`s in Residental deals complety.
When housing prices reduces India can retain it`s competitive edge in Service Industry.
Infosys, TCS & so on are real Govts of India & not KHANgress.
Average salaried guy spends 40% of his income on housing which has now spiked to 60% dangerous for country`s growth at all cost.
This will not only reduce the bubble in Real Estate but will divert the usage of limited resources like cement , steel, human labors for development of roads, railways, dams, water reserviors and so on.
NRI`s pay tax in another country and retire in India.. which is injustice to average Indians..
NRI`s should be encouraged to park there money in Infrastructure bonds as Tax free Income. But also be encouraged to Vote via Internet and pay average tax ranging from Rs 5000 to Rs 10000/- on per annum basis.
Govt can demand such money only when voting rights is provided to them.
LIC shouldn`t be forced to invest in markts when FII`s want to exit.
LIC should only invest in Infra structure related projects & leave Stock markets .
If India doesn`t take bold steps we are going Argentia way or Indonesia way where we will be forced to carry cart full of rupees for only daily grocery shopping.
Gold loans are better than Home loan mortgages,
